1936 The Fishes of the British Isles Both Fresh Water and Salt by J Travis Jenkins / Warne & Co., London / Illustrated / Very Good Condition
In very good condition and in the scarce dust wrapper, here is a lovely vintage copy of The Fishes of the British Isles Both Fresh Water and Salt by J Travis Jenkins. Published in 1936 by Frederick Warne & Co., Ltd of London. With 299 illustrations of which 128 are in full colour, with detailed diagrams in there too. Both book and jacket are in top order.
The pages are clean and tightly bound. The outside edges have some very slight tanning over the original brown speckled design. All of the super illustrated plates are in excellent condition.
Olive-green faux leather boards have also remained in fantastic condition having been well protected by the dust wrapper.
The unclipped dust jacket is in top condition for a book of this age. The spine has tanned. With the odd nick and brown spot and some slight creasing in places, but overall clean, bright and very smart indeed.
Your vintage copy of The Fishes of the British Isles will be wrapped with care in tissue and ribbon* and will be sent well packaged. I am always happy to add a gift card with a message to the parcel.
H 18 cm x W 14 cm, 408 pages, 0.66 kg. I dispatch worldwide daily from the UK. (There are just a very few countries which I am unable to ship to).
* If you would prefer for your book not to be decoratively wrapped but sent simply in the full protective packaging please add a note to the order.
