In excellent condition, here is a super vintage copy of The Rose Book A Complete Guide For Amateur Rose Growers by HH Thomas. Originally published in 1913, this is an edition from 1926. A beautiful book with numerous plate illustrations in black and white and colour. Has a few small pen ticks next to different rose entries (see photos), otherwise in top order. Has the original dust jacket - also superb.

Page are clean, bright and tightly bound. With just the above-mentioned few black ink lines, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. All of the eight tipped-in colour plates are present with their captioned tissue guards. There are a further forty black and white plates.

In an extremely attractive binding of olive-green cloth covered boards decorated with a rose garden illustration accented in red. With bright gilt titles and decoration to the front. The boards are in mint condition - having been well protected by the dust jacket.

The unclipped jacket is also in superb condition. Has a small split at the top spine joint, and a little rubbing to the corners. Otherwise clean, bright and very smart indeed.
