In good condition, here is a large format antique hardback copy of Westminster Abbey - Its Memories and Its Message by Mary Sturgeon. Richly illustrated with sixteen etchings and drawings by Louis Weirter. Being a first edition published by George Harrap & Co., London.

Contents: Light in the Mist; Art is Long; Long Live the King!; A Benedictine Monastery; The Holy Place; "We Praise Thee O Lord"; The Home of Freedom; The Lady Chapel of Henry VII-I; The Lady Chapel of Henry VII-II; Life, and the Tomes; The Spirit of a Nation; The Law and the Prophets.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. With tanning and spotting to the endpapers, outside edges and spotting scattered through the text. All sixteen illustrations are present and in good condition. This copy has not been written in and there are no other markings of previous ownership. The top closed edge is gilt. 

Light brown cloth covered boards have dark brown, red and gilt decoration to the front and spine. All in top order. With just a little rubbing to the cloth at the spine ends.
