Here is a lovely antique copy of A Book of Myths by Jean Lang. Published in 1915 by TC & EC Jack, London. With twenty colour plates by Helen Stratton. This copy is 110 years old and so inevitably has some wear, (detailed below), but remains a lovely book.

Inside the book opens with an inked inscription from 1929, but has no other writing or markings of previous ownership. With some tanning to the endpapers, and scattered spotting through the text. Tanning and spotting also to the closed outside edges. All twenty plates are present as called for. With a chip out of the top edge of some of the pages in the middle of the book (see close-up photo), and some creases to a few pages.

Olive-green cloth covered boards have black decoration to the front and spine. With some rubbing to the cloth on the corners and spine ends, with some slight fraying to the latter. Has a small faded area on the front board. With a few scratches and light marks to the rear board, with a small scuff and bump to the fore-edge.
