Here is a beautiful copy of Guinevere and Other Poems by Alfred Lord Tennyson. Published in 1912 by Blackie and Sons, London and with the utterly gorgeous artwork throughout by Florence Harrison (see photos). 

Inside the book opens onto lovely decorative endpapers. Has an inked inscription opposite the half-title page dated Xmas 1917, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. All twenty-four tipped-in colour plates are present as called for, and all in top order. With many more illustrations and decorations in line. The top closed edge is gilt.

Olive-green cloth covered boards have ornate gilt decoration to the front and spine. Again in very good condition, with just some light rubbing to the corners and spine ends/joints, and one light mark on the back. An extremely eye-catching edition.
