1910 Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift / Beautiful Ethel Larcombe Art Nouveau Designed Boards / Antique Hardback Book In Good Condition

In very good condition, here is a lovely antique hardback copy of Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels. Published in 1910 by Blackie and Sons Ltd of London. Has an absolutely gorgeous Art Nouveau design on the front board and to the spine. Designed by Ethel Larcombe under the direction of Talwin Morris, Art Director at the Glasgow-based publishers Blackie & Son. With a colour frontispiece, and many line drawings in the text (see photos). 

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound - with tanning and spotting around the outside edges. Has a small nick to one fore-edge. Has a prize bookplate on the front free endpaper, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership.

Bound in the original blue cloth covered boards with olive-green and cream Art Nouveau decoration. All in top order, with just a few light faded spots on the rear board, but minor. The gilt titles on the spine are still shiny bright.

A very clean, tight and smart copy.
