1890s Round the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne - Antique Book

Here is a lovely antique hardback copy of Round the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne. Undated, but would have been published in the 1890s by George Routledge and Sons, London. A slim edition, in an eye-catching decorative cloth binding (please note dimensions). Condition details below.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound with no inscriptions or markings of previous ownership. Has a cracked hinge at the beginning to give the front board a mild wobble. In no way effecting the binding of the text block which is good and strong. Unillustrated. To NOTE: the pages have an "old book" smell. All edges are shiny gilt.

Bright-blue cloth over boards have decoration to the front and spine, and gilt titles. The front board is very bright, with shiny gilt. The gilt has rubbed a little on the spine. Rubbing also to the cloth on the spine ends and corner tips. A couple of faint dark marks on the back - but minor.
