In good condition, here is a decorative antique copy of The Natural History of Selborne and The Naturalist's Calendar by Gilbert White. Published in 1895 by Blackie & Son, London.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound, with occasional scattered spotting. With tanning to the endpapers, and tanning/spotting to the outside edges. Has a black and white illustrated frontispiece, otherwise this is an unillustrated edition. With a prize bookplate dated 1899 on the front paste down, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership.

Dark-red cloth covered boards have Art Nouveau decoration to the front and spine. Clean and smart. Has some faint scratches on the front. The spine has faded in comparison to the front, but the gilt titles remain bright and shiny. Has some rubbing to the corners and spine ends.
