Tales of Mystery and Imagination by Edgar Allan Poe - Vintage Book

In excellent condition, here is a lovely vintage copy of Edgar Allan Poe's Tales of Mystery and Imagination. Undated, but would have been published by Odhams Press of London in the 1930s. Includes "The Murders in the Rue Morgue" and "A Descent into the Maelstrom", "The Fall of the House of Usher" amongst many other tales. In total there are forty stories included.

Condition in detail: Dark brown faux leather boards have a central blind stamped pattern and border around the edges. Bright gilt titles to the spine. In absolutely top order, with the only minor condition points to note being some untrimmed extra cloth to the fold on the bottom rear corner (see photos), and light rubbing to the spine ends.

Pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. No inscriptions or markings of previous ownership. This is an unillustrated edition, however there is a portrait frontispiece of Poe (see photos). The top closed edge is tinted black.

Your vintage copy of Poe's Tales of Mystery and Imagination will be wrapped with care in tissue and ribbon* and sent well packaged. I am always happy to add a gift message to the parcel if desired.
