c1910 Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne / John W Lovell Company / With a Highly Collectable Bookplate by Hans Unger

Here is an antique copy of Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne. Undated but would have been published around the 1910s by John W Lovell Company, New York - the Oxford edition. Has a lovely, highly collectable Ex Libris bookplate by the German artist Hans Unger on the front paste down (see photos). An unillustrated edition.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. They have tanned and there are a few nicked edges. With the above-mentioned bookplate to the patterned endpapers. There is also an owner's stamp on the verso of the front free endpaper and also to the title page. Has a few small dark dots along the closed top edge.

Brown cloth covered boards have black stamped decoration to the front and spine, and gilt titles. All in very good order, with some rubbing to the cloth at the corners and spine ends, and just the very odd faint mark and some light rubbing to the boards, but minor.
