1970s Alice in Wonderland plus Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll - Illustrated Vintage Book

A wonderful vintage collection of the major works by Lewis Carroll. Including Alice in Wonderland, Alice Through the Looking-Glass, The Hunting of the Snark plus Selected Poems. Undated, but published by Heron Books in the early 1970s. Illustrated with drawings reproduced from those of the well-known Tenniel originals and with a blue place marker ribbon. In excellent condition, appears little read - if at all.

Deep blue faux leather boards are in superb condition and the spine is un-faded with bright gilt lettering. A couple of very faint scuffs on the back - but minor.

The pages inside are also in excellent condition being bright, clean and tightly bound. There is no writing, marks or inscriptions. The covers open onto pale blue endpapers also with an elaborate gilt pattern.
