In good condition, here is a super antique copy of Robin Hood and the Men of Greenwood by Henry Gilbert. Published in 1912 by TC & EC Jack, London. With sixteen colourful plates by Walter Crane.
Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound, with a few folded corner tips and the occasional faint handling mark. Opens onto illustrated endpapers. Has an inked inscription on the half-title page dated December 1917, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. The top edge is gilt, with spotting to the other two sides.
Bright green cloth covered boards have bright gilt decoration to the front and spine. Has some rubbing to the colours in the top right quarter of the front board. With some mild rubbing to the cloth on the corners and spine ends. The gilt has remained shiny bright, and this is an attractive book.
Your antique copy of Robin Hood will be wrapped with care in tissue and ribbon* and sent well packaged. I am always happy to include a gift message in the parcel if desired.
