Here is a lovely antique copy of Little Women Married by Louisa May Alcott. A scarce copy in the Ruby Series published by George Routledge & Sons, London. Undated but with an inscription on the front free endpaper dated 1886. Slightly larger than pocket-sized. gilt-edged on all sides and in good condition.

"Little Women Married" is actually the second part of Louisa May Alcott's novel "Little Women." The complete title of the book is "Little Women, or Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy, Part Second" in the US, or "Good Wives" in the UK. It continues the story of the March sisters as they navigate adulthood, marriage, and family life.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. With mild tanning to the endpapers. Has a black and white frontispiece, else unillustrated. With a decorative initial at the start of each chapter. Has the above-mentioned elegantly-inked prize inscription, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership.

Very attractive green cloth covered boards have decoration to the front, back and sides. With light rubbing to the corners and spine ends. The decoration is in top order, with shiny bright gilt titles.
