1935 Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare - Vintage Edition

From 1935, here is a pocket-sized vintage copy of Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare. Published by JM Dent and Sons, London in their New Temple Shakespeare series. With the scarce dust wrapper.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound, with no writing or inscriptions. Grey marbled endpapers and gilt to the top edge.

In a dark-blue leather binding with red and gilt central motif to upper boards and gilt titles to spine. Has some mottling to the surface of the blue leather. A little loss to the spine head, and to the the spine tail joints (see photos). 

In the original unclipped grey paper dust wrapper, with red titles. Some loss to the head and tail of the spine. A little edge wear to front and back, and the odd chip. Spine has tanned a little. Overall very clean and smart, and should continue to protect the book for many more years.
