In good condition, here is a charming antique hardback copy of Rob Roy by Sir Walter Scott. In a leather binding and with marbled edges and endpapers. Published in 1871 by Adam and Charles Black, London. With an illustrated frontispiece, title page and six further black and white plates.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound with no writing or other markings of previous ownership.

Has a red calf leather binding with marbled papered sides. There is some rubbing and a little peeling to the surface layer of the leather at the corners and edges. The spine has five raised bands with ornate gilt decoration in the compartments and black leather title and author plates.
