1870s Prayer Book / Full Leather With Brass Edgings and Clasp - Gilt Edged Pages

In very good condition, here is a Book of Common Prayer, Together With Psalms and Lesson For Sundays and Holy Days and The New Testament. A very attractive copy, still perfect for reading, gifting and display.

In a black full leather binding with brass edging and clasp (hinge is strong). The hinge has an elegantly engraved name "J A Milnes". Has a blind stamped scalloped border to front and back. Raised bands and gilt titles to the spine.

Undated but looks to be around the 1870s. 

Pages are clean, bright and tightly bound, with just the occasional spot. Has a small pencilled inscription at the beginning, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. Pages are shiny gilt on all sides.
