1956 A Christmas Carol, The Chimes and The Cricket on the Hearth by Charles Dickens - Illustrated Vintage Edition

Here is bright vintage copy of three of Charles Dickens' Christmas Books. Containing A Christmas Carol; The Chimes and The Cricket on the Hearth. Illustrated with eight colour plates by William Littlewood plus black line drawings. Published by The Heirloom Library of London in 1956.

Inside the pages have some minor wear. With the occasional nicked edge, including to one of the colour plates. With a few folded corner tips and the occasional faint blemish mark. Spotting to the outside edges. Colourful endpapers. Has an inked name and address inscription to the verso of the colour frontispiece (partially obscured in the photos for data protection).

In cream cloth backed boards with red and green decoration to the front, back and spine. All in smart, clean and bright condition. A little tanning to the spine.
