In very good condition here are the two novels Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte and Agnes Grey by Anne Bronte bound in one attractive vintage volume from 1933 published by The Daily Express Publications, London. Has a few extras in addition to the novels.

Includes a Foreword "Emily Bronte-The Woman and her Book" by Wilfred Partington. There is also a black and white illustration of the landscape of Wuthering Heights by Percy Smith and a facsimile of Emily Bronte's handwriting. In addition this version opens with a Biographical Notice of Ellis and Acton Bell by Currer Bell (the pseudonyms used by the sisters).

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. The frontispiece portrait is of Emily Bronte from the original by Branwell Bronte. This copy has not been written in and there are no other markings of previous ownership.

Bound in matt black faux leather effect boards with beautiful shiny gilt lettering and a gilt winged horse motif on the spine and the same motif blind stamped in the centre of the front board. With just a couple of small bumps to the edge of the rear board.
