Here is a charming vintage hardback copy of Johanna Spyri's children's novel Heidi. Delightfully illustrated with eight colour plates by Anne Anderson. Published in 1930 by George Harrap & Co., London.

Inside the book opens onto a lovely illustrated bookplate tipped in to the front free endpaper. Has scattered spotting through the text and some mild tanning and spotting to the closed outside edges. All of the colour plates are present. Several of them have light staining to the bottom right corners (see photos). Over time the book has developed a mild lean.

Olive grey-green cloth covered boards have decoration to the front and spine. Again in top order, clean and bright with just a little rubbing to the corners and spine ends, and a few very faint marks on the back.
