Published in 1919, here is a case of ten large, folding, colour linen-backed maps of key battles and offensives of World War One. Published in 1919 by JM Dent & Sons, London. The maps are all in superb condition.

Contents: 1. Somme Battle, 1916 2. The German Retreat to the Hindenburg Line, Winter 1916-17 3.The Battle of Arras, Spring 1917 4. Third Battle of Ypres, Summer and Autumn 1917 5. Battle of Cambrai, November and December 1917 6. German Offensive on the Somme, March 1918 7. German Offensive on the Lys, April 1918 8. Final British Offensive, August-November 1918 9. Allied Advance, 1918 10. The British Advance to the Rhine.

In the original tough red shell case with a gilt armorial crest to the front. With the odd light faint mark and some rubbing to the cloth on the corners of the box. Lacks the original ribbon tie on the closing flap (see final photo).
