1910 Christina Rossetti Poems / Beautifully Illustrated in Colour by Florence Harrison / In EXCELLENT Condition / Blackie & Sons, London

In excellent condition here is an absolutely beautiful copy of Christina Rossetti's Poems. Richly illustrated by Florence Harrison with thirty-six coloured plates, sixteen line drawings plus numerous vignettes and illustrative devices in the text. Undated but published in 1910 by Blackie and Son, London. In cream cloth with ornate gilt decoration to the front and spine. All in top order. You won't find a copy in better condition than this.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. With just a couple of nicks to the bottom edge of two opening pages. Has an elegantly-inked inscription dated 1910 on an early endpaper (see photos), but no other markings of previous ownership. Opens onto illustrated endpapers. All of the thirty-six tipped in colour plates are present as called for. The top closed edge is gilt.

The cream cloth covered boards are in absolutely superb condition, especially considering this is a copy from 1910. With just some very slight rubbing to the gilt on the front but very minor.
