1906 Flowers From Shakespeare's Garden - A Posy From The Plays Pictured by Walter Crane / Beautiful Illustrated Antique Book

Here is a beautifully illustrated antique hardback copy of Flowers From Shakespeare's Garden - A Posy From the Plays Pictured by Walter Crane. Being a first edition, published by Cassell & Co., London in 1906. With delightful intricate colour illustrations on every page.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. Has decorative endpapers. This copy has not been written in and there are no other markings of previous ownership.

In dark olive-green papered boards with an olive-green cloth spine. Has rubbing to the corners to reveal boards beneath, and a bump to the bottom front corner (see final photo). With some chips to the paper around the outside edges, and a little rubbing to the cloth on the spine ends. Otherwise just a couple of very light scratches to the boards which remain clean, smart and un-faded.
