1890s Scottish Fairy and Folk Tales - Decorative Antique Book

In excellent condition, here is a scarce antique copy of Scottish Fairy and Folk Tales, Selected and Edited by Sir Geo. Douglas, Bart. Bright, clean and beautifully decorated boards. A fascinating book. I can't find another copy of this edition for sale anywhere.

Contents: Nursery Stories; Stories of Animals; Giants and Monsters; Legends and Traditions; Fairy Tales; The Brownie, The Bogle, The Kelpy, Mermen, Demons; Witchcraft; Apparitions, Wraiths, The Second Sight; Comic Tales; Literary Tales.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. A couple of folded bottom corners. Has an elegantly-inked name at the top of the front free endpaper, but no other inscriptions or markings of previous ownership. Has a black and white frontispiece, else unillustrated.

Turquoise cloth over boards have lovely, ornate black decoration to the front and spine, and gilt titles. Also, in absolutely top order - with no condition points to note. The gilt titles are shiny bright.
