1963 On Her Majesty's Secret Service by Ian Fleming / Super FIRST Edition, Fourth Impression / With Original Dust Wrapper / James Bond Book

On Her Majesty's Secret Service is the tenth novel and eleventh book in Ian Fleming's James Bond series. It was first published in the United Kingdom by Jonathan Cape on 1 April 1963.

This copy is a first edition, fourth impression from just the following month, May 1963. In the original dustjacket with the striking artwork of Richard Chopping.

Inside the pages are in good, clean condition with just the slightest spotting to the closed outside edges. 

The dust jacket is lovely, having retained good strong colours. The rear of the jacket is light and this has some faint dark marks. With some mild creasing edge wear along the top and bottom. Has some small chips and a little loss to the corners and spine ends. The inner flap has been price-clipped and there is an inked inscription (see photos). The dust wrapper has now been protected for the future by the addition of a removable plastic sleeve.
