1930s Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass - Illustrated Vintage Book

In excellent condition, here is a charming 1930s edition of Lewis Carroll's two works Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. Undated but published in the 1930s by William Clowes and Sons, London. With a colour frontispiece and eight further black and white illustrations by J Morton Sale.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. With no writing or marks. The top closed edge is tinted orange to match the boards. This has a few faint marks. Has developed a mild lean, with time.

In sunshine yellow cloth covered boards. Also in very good order. Has a few very faint dark marks - but minor. The spine has faded a bit in comparison to the boards and has a few light scuffs - again minor. A clean, tight and smart book.
