1910 Green Willow and Other Japanese Fairy Tales by Grace James / Macmillan & Co London / With Forty Gorgeous Illustrations by Warwick Noble

In good condition, here is a lovely antique hardback copy of Green Willow and Other Japanese Fairy Tales by Grace James. Large-format and with forty colour plates by Warwick Goble. Published in 1910 by Macmillan and Co., London.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. Has a small inked inscription to the front free endpaper. With mild tanning and spotting to the endpapers, and occasional scattered spotting in the text. All forty colour plates are present as called for, all with their captioned tissue-guards. The frontispiece has a creased corner. All edges are tinted blue.

Blue cloth covered boards have gilt decoration to the front and spine. Clean and smart. With the odd light mark and faded area. With rubbing to the cloth on the corners and spine ends. And a couple of tiny splits to the cloth at the head of the spine.
