1908 Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen: Illustrated Antique Book in Two Volumes

In excellent condition, here is a lovely antique copy of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility in two volumes. Published in 1908 by Chatto & Windus, London. Richly illustrated in colour with twenty plates in total. Spotting to the pages being the only real condition point to note. More details below.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. With spotting through the text and to the closed edges, (heavy spotting in places). Has an inked-name at the top of an early endpaper in each volume. All of the colour plates are present as called for across the two volumes. Also has bright colourful illustrated endpapers (see photos). The top closed edges are tinted green.

Olive-green cloth over boards have elegant gilt titles plus a locket paste down design to the front upper panels. Again in top order - no condition points to note at all. An attractive set, looking extremely eye-catching on display.
