In very good condition, here is an extremely comprehensive and richly illustrated antique set of flower gardening books. The Flower Grower's Guide by John Wright. Complete in three large volumes. Undated but published in 1897 by Virtue & Company, London. Profusely illustrated with many colour plates in each volume, plus many diagrams and drawings. Some really lovely botanical artwork. These are large and striking books.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. This copy has not been written in and there are no other markings of previous ownership. All of the colour plates are present as called for and they have tissue guards. With some nicks, chips and creases to some of the tissues, but minor all the tissues remain clean and smart. Shiny gilt edged on all sides.

Dark-red cloth covered boards have ornate decoration to the fronts and spines, and bevelled edges. Again in top order with just some light rubbing around the edges, corners and to the spine ends. Looking extremely eye-catching on display.
