A delightful three-volume set of classic literature titles. Published in the 1930s by Odhams Press, London. Comprising Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott; Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift and Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe. In good condition and looking uniform and eye-catching on display.
The contents are in good condition with the pages begin clean and tightly bound with no writing or markings of previous ownership. The tops are tinted red (see photos). This is an unillustrated series.
The red cloth covered boards are clean and bright and uniform in colour.
The spines have tanned mildly but this is consistent across all three books so that they match on the shelf. Ivanhoe has a split to the surface cloth at the top of the joint with the front board. With shiny gilt titles to all three.
