1944 The Caterpillars of the British Butterflies / Frederick Warne & Co, Ltd / Numerous Illustrations in Colour and BW / Scarce Dust Jacket

In very good condition, and in the scarce dust wrapper here is a lovely vintage copy of The Caterpillars of the British Butterflies Including The Eggs, Chrysalids and Food-Plants. This copy was published in 1944 by Frederick Warne & Co., Ltd of London. With 348 illustrations, 68 of which are in full colour. 

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. The outside edges are speckled blue as published and these have some tanning/spotting. Has an inked name and address on the front free endpaper. I have partially obscured this in the photos for data protection.

Bound in petrol blue faux leather boards. In excellent condition, having been well protected by the jacket.

The dust wrapper itself if is in very good order for a book of this age. With just some very slight edge wear creasing and a couple of nicks. The spine has tanned a bit in comparison to the front and back.
