Here is an absolutely delightful Victorian picture book with an illustration on at least each double page. Little Chummies - Pictures & Rhymes For Happy Times. Undated but with an inscription from 1898 on the half-title page. 

Has a charming colour frontispiece, and then filled with delightful illustrations, mostly depicting children at play, with dolls, toys, pets, friends, family and even some animals. It's a nostalgic look at childhood and the simple joys of life during that time.

Inside this copy the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. With some light scattered spotting. With vintage advertisement endpapers. Has the above-mentioned inscription at the top of the half-title page, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership.

Papered boards are also in top order. With just a little rubbing and chipping around the outside edges. With a bright blue cloth spine.
