In excellent condition here is a super vintage edition of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, published by Daily Express Publications, London in 1933. This copy has some additional extras to the novel. It opens with a portrait of Charlotte Bronte by George Richmond as a frontispiece. Then there is a Foreword "Charlotte Bronte-The Woman and Her Book" by Wilfred Partington. The original Preface by Currer Bell (Bronte's pseudonym) from 1847 is reprinted and there are also five illustrations of the locations of the story (see photos) by EM Wimperis. 

In comparison to some other vintage editions I have found that this publisher's print run ages very well indeed. 

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound with no writing or marks. The top closed edge is tinted black.

The black boards have the feel of an earlier Edwardian era about them. There is a blind-stamped winged horse motif on the front cover. With shiny gilt titles and winged horse on the spine. A tight, bright and square edition.
