In good condition, here is an attractive antique edition of The Swiss Family Robinson - or The Adventures of a Shipwrecked Family on an Uninhabited Island. Undated but with an inscription on the front free endpaper from 1890. Published by James Blackwood & Co., London. With eight black and white illustrated plates.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound, with the occasional folded corner. Has the elegantly inked inscriptions to the front paste down and free endpaper (see photos) and a small sticker mark in the top corner of the free endpaper, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership.

Dark green cloth covered boards have black and gilt decoration to the front and spine, and blind stamped pattern to the back. All in very good order, with just a few faint light marks. The spine has tanned just a little in comparison to the front and back. The gilt titles remain shiny bright and this is an attractive antique book.
