1995 Hans Christian Andersen's Fairy Tales - Vintage Slip-Cased Book Illustrated by Heath Robinson

In excellent condition, here is a super vintage hardback copy of Hans Andersen's Fairy Tales. Beautifully illustrated by W Heath Robinson. Published in 1995 by The Folio Society, London. This copy is a first Folio edition. In a slipcase box - also excellent.

Contains twenty-four tales and numerous illustrations comprising of full-page colour plates plus line drawings and decorations. The top closed edge is tinted red (with one scuff). Appears un-read, with no writing or inscriptions.

Red cloth over boards have cream and gilt decoration to the front, plus gilt titles and decoration to front and spine. Again all in top order.

The red slipcase has a few faint dark marks - but minor. It should continue to protect the book for many more years to come.
