In excellent condition, here is an excellent copy of Icelandic Folktales and Legends. A highly regarded anthology translated and edited by the prominent British folklorist Jacqueline Simpson. Being a first edition, published by BT Batsford in 1972.

Contents: The Hidden People; Trolls; Water-Dwellers; Ghosts; Black Magic; Buried Treasure; God and the Devil.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound with no writing or markings of previous ownership. A little spotting to the closed outside fore-edge. The top closed edge is tinted blue.

The unclipped dust jacket is also in top order. Just one small indent on the back - but minor.
