In very good condition, here is a vintage first edition copy of The Trickster by Paul Radin. With commentaries by Karl Kerenyi and CG Jung. Published in 1956 by Routledge and Kegan Paul, London.

A seminal anthropological and psychological text written by American anthropologist Paul Radin. Published simultaneously by Routledge in London and the Philosophical Library in New York, it is widely considered Radin’s most enduring and influential publication. The book famously codified the "Trickster" archetype in global mythology, academic folklore, and psychoanalysis.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound, with no inscriptions or markings of previous ownership. Unillustrated. With spotting to the closed outside edges.

In the original price-clipped dust wrapper. Also in very good order. Has some chips to the bottom corners and bottom of spine. With the front bottom corner having a small closed tear. With some mild tanning and spotting - but minor. Overall the jacket is very presentable indeed. It has now been protected for the future by the addition of a removable plastic sleeve.

Your first edition copy of The Trickster will be wrapped with care in tissue and ribbon* and sent well packaged. I am always happy to add a gift card with a message to the parcel.
