1930s Pride & Prejudice - Vintage Jane Austen Book

In excellent condition, here is a lovely vintage copy of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice from the 1930s published by Odhams Press of London. A superb example - bright, tight and square.

Striking dark-brown faux leather patterned boards have a central blind stamped ship vignette and a border around the edges. With stamped bands and bright gilt to the spine. In top order - just a little rubbing to spine ends.

This is an unillustrated edition, however there is a portrait frontispiece of Austen (see photos). The tops of the closed page edges are tinted brown. Pages are clean and tightly bound with no writing or other markings of previous ownership.
