1929 Where the Bee Sucks - A Book of Flowers Poems / With Twelve Botanical Colour Plates / The Medici Society, London / Good Condition

In good condition, here is a charming vintage book of flower poetry and beautiful botanical illustrated plates. Where the Bee Sucks contains poems chosen by Iolo Williams and has the artwork of Katherine Cameron (see photos). Undated but would have been published in 1929 by The Medici Society, London.

Inside the pages have spotting through the text but are otherwise clean and tightly bound with no writing or inscriptions. All twelve colour plates are present as called for and are in super condition. The top closed edge is gilt.

Blue cloth covered boards have gilt decoration and titles to the front and spine. Again, clean and smart. Has rounding to the corners of the boards and some fading to the cloth on the spine, else very good.
