Here is a lovely vintage cookbook. The Nursery Cookery Book by Mrs Jameson. Being a first edition published in 1929 by Frederick Warne & Co., London. With charming illustrations throughout. In good condition, and this is the only copy I can find anywhere which still has the original dust jacket.

Filled with recipes and practical advice for preparing food for young children. It's beautifully illustrated by Muriel Harris, adding a delightful visual element to the recipes. The book covers a variety of simple, nutritious recipes that are suitable for children, but many of them can be enjoyed by adults as well. Although it must also be said that there are some recipes which are definitely not to modern tastes but are fascinating nonetheless. It's a lovely little gem that offers a glimpse into the social history of feeding small children in the early 20th century.

Inside the pages are clean and smart. Has mild tanning to the endpapers, some toning along the closed top edge, and a black ink blot on the closed bottom edge (see final close-up photo). With an inked name to the illustrated front free endpaper, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. With a small nick to the top edge of a latter page. 

In the original delightful dust jacket. This has rubbing to the extremities. With chips and some loss to the edges, corners and spine ends. The rear of the jacket has darkened, with a few faint marks. Inside the inner flap has been clipped at the bottom and a small area has been torn across the top corner. The scarce jacket has now been protected for the future by the addition of a removable plastic sleeve.
