1907 Christmas Stories by Charles Dickens - Antique Book

Here is a vintage hardback edition of Christmas Stories by Charles Dickens. PLEASE NOTE - the Stories collection is a compilation of Dickens' later Christmas short stories. These were written after his longer Christmas novellas and so this selection does NOT include A Christmas Carol. Being a first edition thus, published in 1907 by Chapman and Hall, London. Known as their Popular Edition. Clean and tightly bound, with a few condition points to note, detailed below.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. There is tanning to the top edge. With some creasing/folds to some of the bottom corners. Has an illustrated frontispiece and title page, plus illustrated endpapers. Tanning to the latter.

Olive-green cloth backed boards have gilt titles to the spine. Has some light marks to the bottom of the front board, and also in a couple of places on the back (see photos). A little rounding to the corners and spine ends and a couple of tiny splits in the cloth on the spine ends.
