1904 The Boy's Own Book of Natural History - Illustrated Antique Book - Floral Spine

In good condition and in striking boards, here is an antique copy of The Boy's Own Book of Natural History. Published in 1904 by George Routledge and Sons, London. With three hundred and thirty line drawn illustrations. Condition in detail below.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. With spotting to the endpapers, early/latter pages and to the closed outside edges. Has a prize bookplate on the front paste down, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. There is a cracked rear hinge to reveal a little webbing, but in no way effecting the binding of text block which is good and strong.

Dark red cloth over boards have eye-catching decoration to the front and spine. Gilt titles, and a gilt prize crest on the rear board. Again in very good order. With some rubbing/rolling to the cloth on the corners and spine ends. A couple of light scratches to the front - but minor. The gilt remains shiny bright.
