1890s SCARCE Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen - Antique Book

I cannot find another copy of this edition for sale anywhere, and neither can I find any history of past sales. If you are a collector or after a special gift copy of Pride and Prejudice then this more than fits the bill. Undated, but can be dated to the 1890s. Published by W. Nicholson and Sons, Limited of London. In decorative boards. Condition in detail below.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. Has tanning to the endpapers and outside edges. With some decorative head and tail pieces to the opening pages, otherwise unillustrated. This copy has not been written in and there are no other markings of previous ownership.

In dark maroon-red cloth over boards and bevelled edges. Black stamped decoration to the front, back and spine - and with gilt titles. Rubbing to the cloth on the corners and spine ends/joints. A few light scuffs. Some scattered tiny white specks on the front and back (see close-up photo). The spine has faded/tanned a little in comparison to the front and back, but the decoration remains bright.
