1880 Christmas Books by Charles Dickens - Antique Book

In very good condition, here is an antique hardback copy of Christmas Books by Charles Dickens. Undated, but research shows it to have been published in 1880 by Chapman and Hall, London. More details below.

Contains all five of Dickens' Christmas Novellas: A Christmas Carol; The Chimes; The Cricket on the Hearth; Battle of Life and The Haunted Man.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound with no inscriptions or markings of previous ownership. They do have some mild tanning. With a black and white frontispiece - else unillustrated.

Red cloth backed boards have black and gilt decoration and titles to the front and spine. Again in very good order. The spine has faded in comparison to the boards (see photos), but the decoration remains bright. The front and back are in super condition. An eye-catching Christmas book.
