Here are two super antique editions of Mark Twain's travel writings. The Innocents Abroad (1902) and More Tramps Abroad (1898) both by Chatto and Windus, London. Innocents is richly illustrated with 234 drawing, whilst More Tramps is an early third edition looking identical to the first Chatto edition. Two lovely books, not matching editions but both are Chatto and Windus and are in good condition.
Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. Innocents has an inscription dated 1905 on the front free endpaper. More Tramps has an inked name on the verso of the front free endpaper. Being the older book it has a bit of tanning to the outer edges. With lovely floral endpapers and gilt topped pages.
Boards are clean and bright with shiny gilt titles. Innocents has some light marks on the front board (see photos). Tramps has a faint ring mark on the back. Both have mild rubbing to the corners and the heads/tails of the spines. Looking attractive together on display.
Your two volumes of Mark Twain's travel writings will be wrapped with care in tissue and ribbon* and sent well packaged. I am always happy to add a gift card with a message if desired.
