c1900 Warne's Model Cookery - With Complete Instructions in Household Management / Frederick Warne & Co., London / Four Colour Plates

In good condition, here is a wonderful antique copy of "Warne's Model Cookery With Complete Instructions in Household Management. Undated but would have been published around 1922 by Frederick Warne & Co., London. In the original attractive decorative binding. Comprehensive and with four colour plates. Making a wonderful reference as well as an eye-catching decorative item for the kitchen.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. Has a wonderful calligraphy full page gift inscription on the verso of the colour frontispiece, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. With partially cracked hinges at the front and back, but not effecting the binding of the text block which is good and strong. With some tanning to the endpapers and page edges, and a couple of dark marks on the closed top edge.

In red cloth over boards with ornate decoration to the front and spine. The red cloth has faded a little on the spine and around the edges of the boards. There is fraying to the top front corner and a small bump on the bottom front edge. Has a little rubbing also to the cloth on the top rear spine joint. With one small faded mark in the middle of the front board. The decoration to front and spine remains vivid, and this is an eye-catching book.
