In good conditon here is an antique copy of Elizabeth Gaskell's novel Mary Barton. Undated but would have been published in the early 1900s by George Routledge & Sons, London. This is an unillustrated edition.
Inside the pages are in good condition being clean and tightly bound. The outside edges have tanning and spotting, with some toning along the top edge. This copy has not been written in and there are no other markings of previous ownership.
Dark red cloth covered boards are clean and smart. The red of the spine has faded a bit in comparison to the front and back. With shiny gilt decoration and titles.
