1979 Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen - Vintage Book

With striking dark green and gilt decorated covers, here is a copy of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, published in 1979 by Guild Publishing of London. In very good condition, with slight bumping to the bottom edges being the only condition point to note.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. No writing or markings of previous ownership. Opens onto green endpapers with intricate gold pattern design (see photos). This is an unillustrated edition.

The dark-green faux-leather covers are lovely. The only real condition point to note is the above-mentioned bumping to the bottom edge of the boards (see close-up photos). The gilt lettering and decoration are bright and shiny, and this copy looks eye-catching on display.

Your vintage copy of Pride and Prejudice will be wrapped with care in tissue and ribbon and sent well packaged*. I am always happy to add a gift card with a message to the parcel.
