An absolutely beautiful deluxe edition of Moby-Dick or The Whale by Herman Melville. Published in 1979 by The Franklin Library. Produced to an extremely high standard, with gilt edged pages, decorative boards, patterned endpapers and wonderful colour reproductions of nineteenth century whaling prints (see photos).

In absolutely excellent condition, with clean bright pages that have not been written in. Contents superb, with shiny gilt-edged pages. It has the definite feel of having never been read.

The sparkly bright gilt decoration is on the front, spine and back. Again with no condition points to note here at all.
