In excellent condition here is a copy of Sanditon - An Unfinished Novel by Jane Austen. Reproduced in Facsimile From the Manuscript in the Possession of King's College, Cambridge. Published in 1975 by Oxford: The Clarendon Press.

The importance of this manuscript cannot be overstated. "Other than two chapters of Persuasion, nothing has survived of the manuscripts of the six completed novels, and Sanditon is the only document of her maturity that remains to show us Jane Austen's working methods as a novelist."

Clean, bright and crisp pages have no sign of wear or markings of previous ownership.

In light-brown papered boards with beige cloth spine, black title plate and gilt lettering. All superb having been well protected by the original plastic sleeve. Just a slight crease to the paper where it meets the cloth at the bottom of the front board (but minor). The sleeve has been price-clipped on the inner flap otherwise also very good.
