A richly illustrated vintage hardback edition of Hans Christian Andersen's Fairy Tales with drawings throughout by Shirley Hughes (see photos). In good condition.

Contains: The Ugly Duckling; The Little Mermaid; The Emperor's New Clothes; The Tinder Box; The Snow Queen and The Flying Trunk amongst many others.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. Has the remnants of a price sticker on the half-title page. With some toning and spotting along the closed top edge.

In colourful papered boards which have remained in clean, bright condition. With some rubbing around the outside edges and the odd small scuff, otherwise good.
